Our Policies
Deposit and Room Reservations: A non-refundable deposit is due when confirming your banquet space. The Sports Corner does not guarantee any room. Rooms are assigned by party size, with the largest of the scheduled date in the largest banquet room. We do try to fulfill any requests.
Menu Pricing: Will only be guaranteed for 6 months prior to the event. Prices do not include gratuity and sales tax.
Beverage Pricing: Will be guaranteed the day of the event.
Room Charge: If your total food and beverage bill exceeds an average of $100.00 per hour, there will be no additional room charge.
Confirmation: Confirmation of the number of guests to be served on any meal function is required no later than 7 days prior to your event. The Sports Corner will not store any items after the function.
All items must be taken at the conclusion or the function.
Service Charge: A 17% Service Charge will be applied to all food and beverage orders, along with any applicable State taxes. All Federal, State, and Local laws with regard to the purchase and consumption of food and beverage are strictly adhered to. The Sports Corner reserves the right to oversee and control all private parties, meetings, receptions, etc. being held on the premises. All food and beverage must be purchased through The Sports Corner.
Cake Cutting Policy: The Sports Corner will cut and serve your wedding cake for a fee of $100. The cake must be made by a licensed baker.
Decorating Policy: All decorations must be approved by a banquet manager before being put into place. The Sports Corner can not be responsible for decorating. Rife codes prevent us from allowing candles without a glass covering; all candles must be enclosed in a glass bowl or another fire resistant container. Use of confetti is not permitted. If confetti is user, The Sports Corner will charge a $250.00 cleanup fee.
Damage Policy: If damages to property of The Sports Corner occur during your event, an estimated amount for such damages, including any costs not covered in your estimated payment, for which you will be responsible upon receipt.
Smoking Policy: All of The Sports Corner’s banquet halls are Non-Smoking.
Cash Bar: Guests purchase their drinks individually.
Hosted or Open Bar: Guests order the drinks of their choice, and billing is given to the individual or organization hosting the event. A 17% service fee will apply to open bars and this tab must be paid immediately after the event.
Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel your function, all deposits will be forfeited unless a comparable party can be booked prior to your scheduled event.

BANQUET DRINKS
Banquet Drinks are made in a 12oz. tub with a double shot
Soda: $1.50 per glass or $5.00 per pitcher
Fruit Punch: $15.00 per gallon
Champagne Punch: $27.00 per gallon
Champagne: $15.00 per bottle
Wine by the Glass: $4.00
Wine by the bottle: $16.95
Bars are set complete with a selection of red and white wines, domestic beer, soft drinks and rail and call brand liquors.
Premium and Import beer, as well as premium liquors are available upon request.
A bar setup free of $50.00 will be charged and will include a bartender. For any cash bar, a minimum average of $75.00 per hour must be reached or an additional $10.00 per hour bartender fee will apply. The Sports Corner will have the option to override the minimum and leave a bar in a room without charging an additional fee based on the day and activity of the bar.
A 17% gratuity and 5.5% sales tax will be added for any open bar or complimentary beer and soda scenario.
If providing an open bar for your guest, The Sports Corner will waive the setup fee and drinks will be kept on tab behind the bar. Through the course of the evening, a bar minimum may still apply based on the activity of the bar.
